How to Cancel Your Reservation with Borrow A Boat

At Borrow A Boat, we understand that plans can change and sometimes you may need to cancel your reservation. We want to make this process as easy as possible for our guests. Here's everything you need to know about cancelling your reservation with Borrow A Boat.

Cancelling Before Confirmation

If you need to cancel your reservation before it has been confirmed by the charter, you can do so through our website at any time and without incurring any charges. Simply reach out to our customer support and we will cancel the reservation for you.

Cancelling After Confirmation

In the event that your reservation has already been approved by the charter, you will need to contact Borrow A Boat customer support to request a cancellation. Please note that the charter has the final say on whether or not they will provide a refund, and their stated cancellation policy will apply.

Full Refund for Early Cancellations

If you cancel your reservation before the charter has confirmed it, you will receive a full refund from Borrow A Boat.

Administrative Fee for Cancellations Within 5 Days

For cancellations made within 5 days after the charter has confirmed your reservation, an administrative fee of 12% (or as otherwise agreed upon by the parties) will be retained.

50% Retention for Cancellations Up to 45 Days Prior to Arrival

If you cancel your reservation up to 45 days before your scheduled arrival date, 50% of the total price of the reservation will be retained.

No Refunds for Cancellations Within 45 Days

Unfortunately, if you cancel your reservation less than 45 days before your scheduled arrival date, you will not be entitled to a refund. A cancellation fee of 100% of the total price of the reservation will apply.
