Most marinas have super markets in close vicinity. This makes it easy to stock up on groceries before you embark on your trip. It's important to plan ahead and do your grocery shopping for the first few days on the day of embarkation. This way, you can ensure that you have everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable trip. It's also a good idea to buy plenty of water and foods that can be easily prepared in the boat galley, as you may not have access to a full kitchen while on board.
However, if you do happen to run out of provisions during your trip, don't worry. You can always fill up at the next marina you stop at. Just keep in mind that provisioning your boat in remote islands can be quite expensive. In addition, shops directly in the marina often charge a premium for their products. It's always a good idea to plan ahead and stock up on essentials before you reach a remote location.
To help you prepare for your trip, here is a list of basics you should buy and have on board:

Dish Soap
Paper Towels
Garbage Bags or re-use the ones you get from your groceries
