When is the best time to arrive at the marina or base for check-in?

Updated over a year ago

Arriving at the base at the right time is crucial for a smooth check-in process, especially at larger marinas. Here's what you need to know:

Estimated Arrival Time:

  • Providing Your Arrival Time: Charter companies require you to provide your estimated arrival time to facilitate check-in. You can enter your arrival time in your user dashboard on our website.

Early Arrival:

  • Boat Availability: If you arrive early, the charter company may not be obligated to hand over the boat until the agreed-upon time. However, they may have the boat ready if you arrive before the scheduled time.

  • Early Check-In Option: If you wish to ensure an early check-in time, you can opt to pay an extra fee during the booking process. Please discuss this option with us during your booking process if you're interested.

Ensuring a Smooth Experience:

Arriving at the base at the agreed-upon time helps ensure a smooth and efficient check-in process, allowing you to start your sailing adventure without unnecessary delays.
